Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

1. Eligibility for Refunds or Returns

Refunds or returns are available under the following conditions:

  • The lure is unused, in original condition, and returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • The lure arrived damaged or with a manufacturing defect.

  • The wrong item was shipped.

Refunds are not available for:

  • Lures that have been used, fished, or exposed to water

  • Normal wear, hook marks, or fish‑related damage

  • Custom‑made or personalized lures (unless defective)

2. Defective or Damaged Items

If your lure arrives damaged or has a clear manufacturing defect:

  • Contact me within 7 days of delivery

  • Include a photo of the issue

  • I will offer a replacement or refund, depending on the situation

Defects include things like:

  • Hardware failure (split rings, hooks, eyelets)

  • Paint or clear coat issues that affect performance

  • Structural cracks or separation

3. Custom Orders

Custom-painted or custom-built lures are non‑refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective. I will work with you to fix any issues.

4. Return Process

To start a return:

  1. Email or message me with your order number and reason for return

  2. Wait for return approval

  3. Ship the lure back in its original packaging

  4. Once received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method

Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless the item was defective or incorrect.

5. Exchanges

If you want to exchange an unused lure for a different color or model, contact me within 30 days. Exchanges depend on current inventory.

6. Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale:

  • Clearance lures

  • Custom orders

  • Used lures

Processing Time

All lures are handmade. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise stated. Custom orders may require additional time.

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped via USPS or another reliable carrier. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size and destination.

Domestic Shipping (U.S.)

  • Estimated delivery time: 3–7 business days after shipment

  • Tracking information will be provided when available

International Shipping

International shipping may be available upon request. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or import taxes.

Shipping Issues

Bloodythumb Lures is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by the carrier

  • Lost or delayed packages once marked as delivered

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
